q Build engineer for three projects, – Deliverability Commercial, Deliverability Retail and PBDS Framework Carrier Component – UPS.  Designed, updated and customized build scripts for these products as well supervising the builds.  Visual Build, Clear Case, VB.Net, VBScript, Visual C++ 6.0. 

q Development for Smart Mailer.  Maintenance of the Envelope Designer product, both standalone and embedded.  Design and implementation of new features for Envelope Designer including handling for Planet Codes, RTF Edit Control and Fixed Head Printer Handling..  VC++, MFC, ATL.

Development for the dealer/partner website. Scripting in VBScript, JScript, and Java, plus HTML and SQL queries. Maintained a database of users and gives access to parts of the site based on user attributes. Developed an online order form.  Maintained Perl scripts on the corporate web site.

Software Engineer, Westbrook Technologies, Inc., Branford, CT

Developed CDExpress, a multi-optioned tool for burning large databases to CD. Graphical User Interface Design and Windows' programming for Fortis, a document imaging system. Updating the look and feel of the major input systems, restructured menus and dialogs, Help and Cue Card systems.  C, VC++, Windows.

Technical Manager for a fashion design system including a Color Book, Custom Palette, Colorways Generator, Fabric Draping and plug-ins for Adobe Photoshop and Fractal Painter.  Designed the system and did the original coding on the first three standalone programs.  C, VC++, Windows. HTML, Perl script.

Project Leader/Engineer, Microdynamics, Inc., Dallas, TX

Project leader for MicroDesign, a set of graphic products for the fashion industry, including seven printer drivers, two scanner drivers.  'C' projects: Multiprint, prints image or fabric repeat to specific scale. Pattern Design System (PDS), for sewing patterns - added interactivity to graphic functions; dual screen Help System using low level DOS/BIOS screen handling.

Software Engineer, Tracer Technologies, Inc, Garland, TX

Designed/implemented a robotic based entertainment oriented product with five three-axis robots, five two-axis canons, 20 lights, five 32 char LCD displays and hydraulics. Designed/implemented software for a laser tag arena game. System interacted with and tracked 60 users in real time. Wrote complete Point-Of-Sales (POS) business system for game operators.

Project leader for IBM-PC development of RouteStar generic meter reading system, used in at least 100 cities across the US. Implemented custom PC systems for Utah Power and Light, Oklahoma Natural Gas. Included multiple device polling and remote data input. Turbo Pascal.

Software Design Engineer, Computer Support Corp (CSC), Dallas, TX.

Designed/implemented Computer Support Application Manager (CSAM), including low level DOS/BIOS Window's like interface for application calls and screen read/writes;  Implemented software interface between CSC's business graphic application, Picture Perfect, and the Polaroid Palette, including bitmapped screen reads and color mapping. 8086 Assembly and MS Pascal on IBM-XT.

Video Game Programmer, Video Software Specialists (VSS), Dallas, TX

Designed/implemented software sprite package intended for use on all future IBM-PC games. Helped develop the game Quest for Quintana Roo. 8088 assembly on IBM-PC, low-level DOS/BIOS graphics.

Software Design Engineer, Texas Instruments, Lewisville, TX

q Marine Products. Designed/implemented RS232 interface, data reduction routines for TI8000 Integrated Marine System. Received TI Incentive Award Bonus for this project. TI9900 assembly: Keyboard decoding, data reduction, printer, LORAN interfaces for TI5000 LORSAT navigator. Adapted 32 bit integer package for LORSAT to handle 64 bit arithmetic.

q  High Speed Anti-Radiation Missile (HARM) Updated, modularized and documented a large, patched piece of code in the "special threat" area of missile software. TI9900 Assembly. Wrote data reduction routine for HARM test data.
